Canon Characters

Canon roles are entirely optional - you don't have to play a canon to join the site! But there are plenty of important or notable occupation roles available to play!
A canon role - especially those marked with a Heart Container are important figures to Tales of Hyrule so please be considerate when applying for a role!
These characters have ties to each other and are influential figures in their respective races or locations, so we ask that players taking up canons consider their dedication to the site beforehand!

There is currently no limit to how many canons a player can play that are marked with a Heart Container.

Characters who are marked by a ♔ King’s Crown are non-player characters and cannot be played.

Members are welcome to combine canon roles; want the Rito Postman to also be the Sage of Wind? That's fine!
What about characters that are both marked with a heart piece?
Members are welcome to combine two character roles that are marked with heart pieces, but it will still count as taking up two "major" canon roles out of the allocated four - so bare this in mind!
